Silk Towers was conceived around a single principle: architecture should serve both people and place.
Designed in collaboration with Kengo Kuma & Associates, every detail — from materials to orientation — reflects sustainability, human scale, and harmony with Batumi’s natural landscape.
The City
IN THE HEART OF OLD BATUMI
Silk Towers is rising as a new landmark — one designed to shape the city's skyline and define its architectural identity for generations. Batumi is where seaside living meets a dynamic urban rhythm: a subtropical coastline, a vibrant mix of gastronomy, culture, entertainment, and international events draw tourists and investors year-round.
This sustained momentum drives a rapidly evolving real estate market, fuelled by strong demand and rising international interest — making location not just an advantage, but the foundation of long-term value.
The architect
Designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates — His First Project in Georgia
Kengo Kuma founded his practice in 1990. Today, his projects span more than 50 countries. His architecture is celebrated for its ability to discover new relationships among nature, technology, and human experience, dissolving boundaries and creating harmony between structure and setting.
In 2021, Kengo Kuma was named among the world’s 100 most influential people. In recognition of his contribution to contemporary architecture, he was awarded the 80th Imperial Prize. He has also received the Japan Art Academy Prize for his acclaimed design of V&A Dundee.
Sustainable Materials, Timeless Design
In designing Silk Towers, natural materials were carefully selected to create architecture that exists in harmony with its surroundings. Authentic textures and expressive materials remain central to the approach, reflecting both the landscape and regional craftsmanship traditions. Careful material optimisation and responsible construction practices help minimise environmental impact and support a more sustainable way of building.
